Rachel and Cecilia made friends with some tenants in their apartment building fairly quickly. Rachel especially become close with a cute, petite blonde named Katrina. After only a few days, Katrina invited the girls to a party at a large Hollywood mansion not far away.
Rachel and Cecilia were unsure whether or not to go to the party. They had not yet gotten jobs as models, but they were eager to meet some people. They also had no money and both Rachel and Cecilia would have to call off work at the shitty convenience store around the corner in order to go to the party, but both girls agreed that it might be worth it to make some connections. Rachel said to her sister, "Who knows? Maybe we'll meet some famous photographer or agent at the party who can make us famous!"
Cecilia smiled at the thought. "Maybe it isn't a bad idea. Although we might get evicted if we can't pay the rent, and we need money to pay the rent." |
