You decide that it can't hurt.
You begin writing, listing all that you can.
I obey the principal. I obey teachers. I obey staff. I obey my parents. I obey my friends. I obey my peers. I obey...
The list goes on for a little bit, and although it feels silly (especially since you don't really obey any of those people), it's an easy assignment. You try to fill the paper as much as you can.
Everyone else must find the assignment silly too. They must be bored out of their minds, especially if they do this kind of thing every day.
Out of ideas, you stop writing. The paper is half full, but it will do.
The bell chimes and everyone hands in their work.
You feel refreshed, standing after a whole fifty minutes of just sitting around. You straighten your clothes and walk out of the classroom, saying goodbye to Margriet and Julia. You wonder what you should do next. This school is kind of interesting. You're learning a lot about it. This could be... well, if your teacher hears of all this, he'll sure to be impressed. |
