"You're listening to 933.3 Intergalactic Human Radio, the station you grew up with," spoke a smooth female voice from my bedside radio/alarm clock. "Up next is Kaldorn's Cruisers hit single, Earthen Paradiso."
It was as the soothing violin cords played from the small radio that I finally felt some peace. Two years ago, I defeated Saren and Sovereign at the Citadel, I was killed by a Collector ship on the edge of Council space, and at last brought back to life by an organization that I was actively opposing previously.
Things were always quiet between my usual excursions - my crew taking as much time to themselves as possible on a mission like this.
As I was reading a story about the First Contact War, my personal communicator beeped twice and Doctor Chakwas voice rang out, "Commander, I have your medication ready for you. With your permission, I'll bring it to your room right away."
"That's fine, Doc," I answered tiredly. "I'll unlock the door for you."
Lately I've been needing stress relief medication (according to the Doctor). Although I never really felt a need for it, Chakwas insisted and I've been taking the pills on a regular basis.
I opened the door for her, and the Doctor presented me with a tray of two pills and a glass of water, "You'll want to rest immediately after taking these, Commander. They are strong and could negatively affect you if you stay active for the first hour."
"Of course, Doctor," I said, accepting the medicine. She left for her medbay, I took the pills, and then Joker was on the ship-wide alert system.
"Commander, we have a situation! The Illusive Man called for an urgent meeting!"
Seven hours later...
"It's good to have you onboard again, Ashley," I said, smiling at our newest crew member, Lieutenent Commander Ashley Williams. "Let me take you to your quarters..."
As I walked Ashley to the crew quarters, I couldn't help but notice the way her combat suit hugged her nicely developed breasts and sealed against that wonderful butt of hers...
Then I mentally shook my head clear; this was Ashley I was fantazing over! I've never felt that way for her before... besides, didn't she mention having a husband now?
"Thanks Commander," Ashley said, now standing in the Crew Quarters, looking around in approval of the accomodations. They were signifcantly better than the first Normandy. "With your leave, I'll settle in."
"Dismissed, Lieutenent Commander Williams," I said, returning her salute. I tried not to look back at her, feeling more aroused than I've ever been before! What's happening to me? |
