The Secrets of Smith Paper Company | LordXorph | 9

Sarah had the situation well under control. She was barking orders with confidence and efficiency, "Davis, you and Lewberg log into the system and set up an auction for Janette. The rest of you, come with me and we'll stick her in one of the cells."

I was grabbed and frog-marched out of my office and down the hidden corridor that connected my underground facility with the above-ground paper factory. I'd been down this way many times, usually leading some frightened and sobbing girl to her cell. It was not so nice when I was the one to be auctioned off.

My mind was racing; I had to get out of this. I was the slaver, damnit! I kidnapped girls, degraded them, sold them, and now I was the one this was going to happen to. I couldn't accept it. But there was nothing I could do, not when I was naked, gagged and handcuffed, with Sarah pointing a pistol at me.

Finally we reached the cell. #28-D. It was one of the bleakest ones, just an empty concrete room with a heavy metal door. There was no bed, no toilet, not even a light, because it was intended for merchandise that was only going to stay in there for a short while. I was forced to the door, and then shoved in. The door was slammed shut behind me and I heard the hollow click as they locked it.

As my eyes adjusted to the gloom and I fought to control my panic, I swore that if I ever escaped I'd make Sarah suffer in ways she'd never imagined.

Can I escape?
