Star-Studded Summer | brainysmurfette | 1

The hot July sun pounded down on as she made her way across campus. She felt like she was going to melt right there on the sidewalk, never reaching the library. "Stupid ," she thought. "You just HAD to come to California to go to college. Couldn't just stay in Minnesota, where it's nice and cool..."

's frustration with the climate was interrupted by a sudden wave of people crossing her path. That was strange. The campus had been almost deathly quiet for the past month and a half, as few students wished to spend their summers in the classroom.

strained to see what it was that had attracted such a crowd. To her far right, next to the English building, was a collection of lights, folding chairs, sound equipment... a movie set! Further off, she noticed, were several trailers, which probably served as dressing rooms. Now that was something she'd never seen in Duluth!

Her plan to spend the afternoon at the library quickly left her mind, and the curious converged with the crowd of spectators, extras and reporters as they headed in the direction of the set.

What does she do?

She goes with the crowd to check out the set.

She passes up the set and heads to the trailers.
