You look around, curling your lip in a mixture of disgust and amusement at some of the morons who have turned up to the auditions. There's an overweight middle-aged man with a green and yellow sweater and a pair of plastic bee wings on his back. You idly wonder what his super power is- if he's even got one. Near him is an old lady who, true to the superhero stereotype, is wearing her gigantic granny knickers on the outside. You find that both pathetic and horrifying, but you have to admit that the martial arts moves she's performing with her walking stick are very impressive. All in all, though, this crowd is seriously disappointing.
Then you spot her. A pretty, very pale and shy looking girl with black hair and a nice perky little body. She's wearing a black and dark purple outfit that, although it gives you a good idea of her figure, is pretty tame compared to what some of the other superheroines wear. But this girl is looking around with a nervous and embarrassed expression as though she's been caught nude in public.
Smiling to yourself, you slowly wander over to make her acquaintance. You decide to use your mind powers on her, making sure to be careful because people tend to react badly if they get the sense that their minds are being manipulated. You just tweak her a little bit to make sure she reacts favorably to the muscular black man walking towards her. "Hey there," you say softly, "I'm Praxis."
"Hi." she says shyly. "I'm Alice." Then, as though she feels she needs to say something, adds "I can do force fields."
You give her a friendly smile and say, "Sweet! I've got super strength and endurance." You don't mention your mind powers, but use them to make sure she's aware of the bedroom implications of the powers you've just mentioned. Your smile broadens when you see her begin to blush a little. Messing with people is fun. |
