A few days later, Keri-Lynn was packed and ready to go to Calhoun City. A limo pulled up out front, and a minute later the doorbell rang. Keri-Lynn answered the door wearing a white vest and skirt, and there was a tall black man in a chauffer uniform standing on her porch.
"Miss Hunter? I'm Aaron, I'll be driving you down to Calhoun today," he said with a slight bow. "Can I help you with your luggage?"
"Yes, please," she said, flashing him an appreciative smile as he led her towards the waiting car. She took a deep breath. So far, so good.
