The magnitude of his question leaves you speechless for quite some time. The three boys simply sit there watching you, waiting for your response. You replay the question over and over in your mind, trying to replay if your son really did just ask to see you naked. Finally, you are able to recover from your shock enough to whisper a response.
"You want, what?" you say quietly.
Zach just smiled. "We want to see you naked, Mom. You are still a very beautiful woman, you know. Everyone on the team says so." Brett and Jon nodded their heads enthusiastically at this statement. "All the guys have said in the locker room that they would give just about anything to see you undressed, and when I told Brett and Jon about your party promise, they said I should absolutely ask for you to do it. I told them there was no way you'd do it, so they dared me."
You relax a little and laugh nervously. "So this is all just a dare then. Just a joke." When none of the boys start laugh with you, and continue to watch you expectantly, you realize that, no, they are completely serious about this.
"No, Mom. No, joke. Brett and Jon really do want to see you nude, and I told them I would ask. Are you going to make me a liar by breaking your promise to me?" Zach asked with an intent expression on his face.
You continue to stand there, trying to come with any appropriate response to your son's request... |
